On June 21, David Lumpkin, President and Founder of the nonprofit organization, attended the TNA meeting to receive a donation from members. The donation was one of several made by TNA in keeping with the group’s goal of being connected with and supporting the communities they do business in.

On May 17, Sandi Madsen of Ollie’s Parrots Perch and A Place To Call Home, attended the TNA meeting to receive a donation from members. The donation was one of several made by TNA in keeping with the group’s goal of being connected with and supporting the communities they do business in.
Ollie’s Parrots Perch (http://www.olliesparrotsperch.com) is where unwanted parrots from the midwest area come to find loving homes. The facility gives birds the utmost love, care and attention while they are there. They are veterinarian checked and great care is taken to find them a long-term, loving home with a new family. The “flock” is cared for by Sandi, and a host of dedicated volunteers.
On March 22nd, the Sycamore and DeKalb Chambers of Commerce hosted an annual expo showcasing member’s products and services. TNA was there along with over 115 other businesses. Nearly 500 people attended the event at the Sycamore High School Field House.
